A new breed of unnecessary apostrophe
Look! It’s unnecessary quotation mark’s ugly cousin, the unnecessary apostrophe. Usually only spotted preceding an “s,” this is a rare and exciting find.

Oh yeah – and it got your attention, right? Maybe intentionally bad punctuation is a smart way raise awareness among that coveted armchair-grammarian psychographic?

Why can’t one quotation mark have a cousin? I’m not sure whether it’s a grammar question or a genealogy question.
But I’m sure I make grammar mistakes all over this blog. My excuse is that it’s a blog. Not sure whether that’s valid, but I need some kind of excuse in order to justify my enthusiastic stone throwing.
